What is LARP?
LARP means "Live-Action Role Play." It's an amateur theatre where the all of the actors come up with the lines and stage directions on-the-go. Everybody has their own role. and they decide how this role reacts to what happens around them.

We hope to arrange several LARPing events, as long as the players are interested.

Enjoying alcohol or narcotics of any kind is not allowed under any circumstances during our LARPing events. You must be over 16 years of age to participate in the events, unless you bring a legal guardian, and have a written permission from one. A guarding must be at least 18 years old.

After each event, the players will be granted a certain amount of XP, and the amount will be set before the start of the event.



What is forum-role play?
A forum-roleplay is a literary role play where multiple players participate in writing a story, each writing from the point of view of their own role.

The length of the post is entirely up to the individual player, but it is recommended that it is more than one sentence long, as this makes it easier for other players to answer.



Feel free to come up with ideas!
The main idea of Freedom is to create a LARP and a forum-roleplay that is as exciting as possible for everyone involved, and therefore, we are highly interested in hearing your ideas about it, whether it's ideas for improvements to our systems, or suggesting a new race or plotline!

If you have any ideas, these can be shared with us, either by the forum's "idea"-section, or by e-mail.

Remember: No ideas are stupid.



Technical information about the world the role play takes place ini:
The role play takes place in a fantasy world called Asteria, sometime during the medieval era. Therefore, technology has not evolved as far as it has today, and automatic firearms and such are not allowed in our game.

There are two spoken languages in Asteria: The elven "grammar," and the human "pronum." In the role play, "grammar" is substituted with english, and pronum with norwegian.

The currency used in Asteria is silver coins, or silvers, as it is called. The players will not have to bring these themselves to LARPing events, as they will be handed out by the organizers when necessary.
